WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?
Dp4™ is the most comfortable microneedling treatment currently available. Numbing cream is applied prior to the treatment. The feeling associated with the Dp4™treatment is similar to light sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating needle tip reduces discomfort while the applied hydrating gel also makes the treatment more tolerable. Most patients rate the discomfort at 2 out of 10.*
HOW LONG DOES PROCEDURE TAKE?
With increased speed, precision and safety the Dp4 procedure takes approximately 1 hour depending on the size of the area. This includes time for topical numbing cream.*
WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?
Immediately after the treatment you may notice a bright redness to the skin and a slight redness may last as long as 12-48 hours. It is recommended not to wear makeup for 24-48 hours post treatment.

WHEN WILL I SEE THE RESULTS?
Visible changes to the skin may develop over the course of several days and weeks as collagen products occurs. Peak results generally take 3-6 months from your final treatment however you may continue to see improvement in skin quality over the course of 6-12 months, especially when the treatments are combined with a medical grade skincare routine that contains active ingredients.*
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
It is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 3-6 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars, it is recommended to receive 4-8 sessions at 4-6 week intervals, depending on the severity.*
WHAT DISTINGUISHES Dp4 microneedling FROM OTHER TREATMENTS SUCH AS LASER?
As a non ablative treatment, Microneedling with Dp4 Dermapen does not remove the top layer of the skin. Certain lasers used repeatedly over time can damage fibroblast cells and lead to a thinner epidermis. Collagen Induction Therapy may help to increase the thickness of the skin and repair this damage.
