What is Fotona 4D?
Fotona 4D is an innovative laser treatment that uses a unique combination of 2 complementary laser wave lengths. These wave lengths are combined to treat 4 distinct dimensions of the skin to rejuvenate and tighten from the inside out. The 4 non-invasive laser treatments work synergistically to increase collagen and firmness in the skin, while also reducing the signs of fine lines or wrinkles without the use of injections.
An additional benefit of this treatment is how customizable it is, making it a great option for all clients! The treatment was initially designed to include 4 primary phases, however if one of the below mentioned treatments does not suit your needs, our trained specialists will substitute a more effective phase specifically targeted for your skin concerns.
- SmoothLiftin™ Lifts from the inside out:
Fotona 4D® starts with SmoothLiftin inside the mouth, where laser energy is used to immediately kick start the tightening process around the jawline and perioral region. This step will also reduce expression lines like the nasolabial folds and wrinkles, much like a filler, but naturally. Fotona Intraoral tightening is the only laser treatment approved to treat the deep cheek tissue from the inside out. . Designed to increase thickness and skin volume, smooth mode is a painless treatment that targets collagen production from the inside. The effects of Smooth mode include softened smile lines, lip lines and nasolabial folds, improved tightness and elasticity, while simultaneously plumping thinning skin.
- FRAC3®
FRAC3 mode is a more targeted treatment that focuses on deeper imperfections in the skin including dark spots and redness. This is a fast and effective step that also helps restores your skin’s youthful texture.
- PIANO®
PIANO mode focuses heat energy from the surface layer of your skin to the inner layer directly below the dermis and epidermis (subcutaneous layer). A brushing technique with the laser is used across the face, which results in a noticeable tightening effecting for any area experiencing skin laxity.
SupErficial mode completes this targeted treatment by removing older, dull skin cells to reveal brighter, healthier skin! This is known as the final polishing step that reveals GLOing skin you’ll love.
What to expect from Fotona 4D:
While pain and discomfort can vary person to person, most clients can experience little to no discomfort during the treatment.
Immediately post-treatment, you may experience mild redness or swelling that will begin to fade within a couple of hours. Most clients experience no downtime and may resume their daily activities post-treatment.
An immediate freshness and tightness of the face can be seen soon after the treatment, but the full effect unfolds gradually over a period of 2-3 months. One can expect continuing improvement for up to six months after treatment.*
